TTC Meerdaal Leuven has experienced steady growth over the years, reaching into the national divisions. In total we have 15 competition teams (both men and women) from super division to 5th provincial.<\/p>\n

Interclub<\/strong> competition is organized by the VTTL. So you have to be a member of the VTTL to be able to participate. This is also required for most tournaments. See the membership fee page.

In the interclub matches are organized between two clubs: two teams of four players each compete against each other, where you play a match against every player from the other team. There are consequently 16 matches in total. Each match is played to three winning sets. Every win gets the team one point. Possible results for the encounter vary thus from 16-0 to 8-8. A draw in the encounter gets each team two points, a victory gets the team three points. To disencourage forfeit, the losing team also gets one point.

A complete season is played over 22 matchdays. So in the entire season, you will play 11 different clubs, home and away. At the end of the season, the highest ranked clubs get promoted to the next division, the lowest ranked clubs are demoted.

A system of classifications<\/strong> ensures that you play players of roughly your own level.<\/p>\n

There are five provincial divisions. Above that, you have the so-called \u201cLandelijke\u201d,where you play in the entire Flemish region. Above that, you have the first, second and third national divisions, where you play anywhere in Belgium. For the absolute top players, there is the \u201cSuperleague\u201d, where you will also meet international top players.

The so-called men\u2019s competition is in fact a mixed competition: you may play both men, women and transgender. The women also have their own, separate competition (and corresponding classification). In this competition, teams consist of three players each. Besides the 9 individual matches, there is also a doubles game. This gives a total of 10 matches, allowing for an encounter result varying from 10-0 to 5-5
