With the slogan: \u201cMultimove for children<\/strong>: a varied offer of exercise for young children\u201d, this pilot project was launched in the 2012-2013 school year with the support of the Flemish government. A scientific study was linked to this, which has shown that Multimove is a success formula for the physical development of young children. The project was therefore continued and expanded throughout Flanders. It is aimed at children from 3 to 6 years old<\/strong> and is an excellent preparation for many different types of sports when they are a bit older.<\/p>

With this goal in mind, active but also playful movement lessons are organised weekly by motivated trainers. In concrete terms, this means that all children aged 3 and 4<\/strong> come every Saturday for an hour to jump, throw, walk, climb, pull and slide\u2026 In short, an hour of Multimove!<\/p>

For children aged 5 and 6<\/strong>, the multimove is expanded with Mini Ping, introductory table tennis lessons for the very youngest. During the Mini Ping, games are played with all kinds of balls, rackets and sometimes even real table tennis. But there is also Multimove. The 5 and 6 year olds get a varied program with the combination of Multimove and Mini Ping.<\/p>

The lessons for all children between 3 and 6 years old take place on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 in the sports hall of the VTI on the first floor (Dekenstraat 3 in Leuven, but entrance via the Braban\u00e7onnestraat).<\/p>

The Multimove & Miniping starts in the 3rd week of September. The season ends at the beginning of May. 25 lessons are provided throughout the year. The cost for these lessons is \u20ac75 for a full year.<\/p>
